This is my first progression reel. More updates to follow.
At the moment I am animating the first phase of my animation. I have been doing this for the past 3 weeks. Currently I have animated a total of 30-40 seconds, which is really good and where I want to be. I have been struggling tremendously with the animation, not having studied the principles of animation, I am finding it very difficult to be able to key the timing properly. Upon seeking some help and advise I am learning the basics and finding the aniamtion a lot easier to do. I shall upload a few pictures later for you guys to see where I am at.

This is the main idea for the lighting for this project. The colour is exactly how I pictured it.
Here is a quick testing version of playing with the Maya: Autodesk’s Physical Sun and Sky. The version on the left is too light, so going into the Physical Sun and Sky options, I turned down the gamma ever so slightly to give it a more natural look, but it still contains the stylised cartoony feel.

Yesterday I started modelling the igloo for my animation. I came across a few problems on how to start. Do I cut a sphere in half, add a texture then bump map it, or do I build the Igloo from scratch, block by block.
Well as you can see I decided to build it block by block to give it then hand-made feel.
This is the Final model for my fish. Any suggestion etc would be greatly appreciated.
